Bows for Battle Mission Statement

Bows for Battle is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans through the discipline, focus, and healing power of archery. Our mission is to put bows in the hands of veterans and create opportunities for them to reconnect with themselves, with fellow veterans, and with the outdoors.

Through the fundamentals of archery — stance, breath, focus, patience, and precision — veterans are encouraged to center their energy, quiet the noise of daily life, and find strength in the moment. Each shot becomes more than an arrow released; it becomes an act of control, clarity, and personal growth.

Bows for Battle believes that time outdoors, shared purpose, and veteran camaraderie can play a powerful role in healing. By providing access to archery equipment, outdoor shooting events, mentorship, and a brotherhood of support, we aim to help veterans rediscover confidence, peace, and connection after service.
